About GFA World
For more than 40 years, we have been committed to serving the “least of these” in Asia, often in places where no one else is serving, so they can experience God’s love for the first time. We are now serving the “least of these” in Africa as well. GFA World supports national missionaries serving as the hands and feet of Christ through four main avenues.

1. National Missionary Sponsorship
We partner with national missionaries who are serving Christ by ministering to people’s deepest needs, both physically and spiritually. Because they live among the people, they are aware of these specific needs. From within these communities, they form the essential network for distributing gifts from GFA World’s Christmas Gift Catalogue, requesting gifts that will be most helpful and coordinating gift distribution programs.
2. Child Sponsorship
Tens of thousands of children from impoverished families across Asia and in Rwanda, Africa, are finding hope and a brighter future through our Child Sponsorship Program. This sponsorship program provides children, families and communities with things like education, medical checkups and more in Jesus’ name. As relationships between GFA staff members and children’s families and communities grow, the staff responds to their needs, often helping families to receive income-generating gifts through Christmas gift distribution events.
3. Community Transformation
Millions of families and entire communities in Africa and Asia are stuck in the cycle of poverty. Limited access to education, medical care and reliable employment gives them little hope for change. GFA missionaries invest in these families and communities, helping meet their immediate needs by providing things like clean water, income-producing farm animals, sewing machines and vocational training.
4. Disaster Relief and Compassionate Care
GFA national missionaries serve victims of natural disasters; those affected most by the coronavirus-related shutdown; and those who are often rejected by society, like widows and leprosy patients. Our Compassion Services teams love the Lord and serve the needy from that same heart. Oftentimes, a gift from the Christmas Gift Catalogue—such as a pair of goats or a sewing machine—can help put a person back on their feet after they’ve suffered from a natural disaster, the death of their husband or the effects of leprosy.

GFA World is a National Member of Missions Interlink
Missions Interlink is a Commission of the Australian Evangelical Alliance Inc and thus linked to the Evangelical Alliance At the 1994 National Forum a Standards Statement was adopted which expresses the values of Missions Interlink and its members.
Missions Interlink is an association of evangelical mission agencies, missionary training Bible colleges and related organisations It particularly encourages networking between members and it also acts as an advocate for its members and their missionaries in areas such as Taxation, Social Security, and Medicare.
